A Journey Through Time
1987
The US Air Force put out a request for a multi-block structured grid generator.
Early '90
First version of Gridgen was released
1994
The US Air Force decided to spin off Gridgen development. Pointwise, Inc. is created.
2007
A new Windows-centric version is created from scratch and named Pointwise (like the company).
2012
Final version of Gridgen is released.
2018
neptech is established as a distributor of Pointwise in the Scandinavian Countries
2020
Cadence Design Systems acquires Pointwise, Inc.
2021
neptech becomes a sales partner of Nordcad, Cadence Design Systems’ distributor in the Nordic Countries.
